Long-term Save Ideas for F1® Manager 2024

There’s more to being a legendary Team Principal than one good season.

We’ve compiled 6 save ideas for your long-term career playthroughs that will push you to perform. Make the most of all the new and improved tools at your disposal in F1® Manager 2024, including season customisation from Update 1.11.

Prove you’ve got the skills to lead your team to glory with each new season. Choose your rival team’s drivers and staff, tweak the race calendar, adjust the rules and regulations and more with this expansive update.

01 - Frankenstein

Build a winning team with F1® Manager 2024's Create A Team mode and then dominate them Constructors Championship year after year.

Use Team Switching to move to one of the official F1® constructors and showdown against your custom team. You'll have more drivers and another team to compete against; will your custom team succeed on their own or will you be facing off at the top of the grid?

Rules

• Use Create A Team to build a custom 11th team, building them to be a truly worthy opponent.
• Switch to an official constructor at the beginning of your first season.
• Battle it out and finish ahead of your custom team in the Constructors Championship.

Extra

Push yourself further by switching back to your custom team once you’ve won the WCC and build them back to glory, proving you’re a Championship-winning Team Principal.

02 - Battle For Survival

Prove your mettle as Team Principal and fight your way to the top of the grid with this intense, multi-season challenge.

Using the season customisation feature, adjust the starting conditions for all the other constructors on the grid, making them as powerful as possible while you start with a shoestring budget.

• Create an 11^th team with the lowest possible starting conditions.
• Use season customisation to tweak the starting conditions and attributes of all your rival teams and give them the best possible starting conditions.
• Show your team can catch up to the titans of F1 by getting in the points in your first season.
• Each season afterwards, improve your ranking on the grid.
• End the save file when you achieve a WDC and WCC win in the same season.

Extra

Push your skills further by limiting the number of seasons you have to take home the win. Are you confident enough in your abilities as Team Principal to snag the WDC and WCC titles in the first season?

03 - Invest in the Future

Use generated drivers and staff through the Affiliate Drivers system to build the F1® team of the future. Put two affiliate drivers in seats on the grid, placing them with some of the best race engineers and have them win the Constructor Championship.

Devote your time and resources to training current drivers and scouting the latest talent from F2™ and F3™.

Rules

• Start your first season with only generate drivers and staff - Not any of the current F1® personnel!
• As soon as possible, sign contracts with the affiliate drivers you've spent time developing, moving them into both seats.
• Tweak the team line up and place some of the best race engineers with your drivers to help coach them towards wins.
• Ensure you have the maximum number of affiliate drivers at any one time via scouting.
• Make sure the mentality of your staff, drivers and affiliates doesn’t fall below neutral.

Extra

Use Create A Team to start your first season with rookie drivers, instead of ones that are already established on the grid. You'll have to work hard improving your ranking as a team and developing your facilities to sign potential talent.

04 - Full House

A truly legendary Team Principal can manage any team to greatness... right? Build an impressive resume by winning a Constructor's Championship AND the Driver’s Championship with every single team on the grid. The catch: you have to do it in one single save!

This challenge is for players that are seriously committed to a long-term career playthrough.

Rules

• Start your save with any team on the Grid. Once you win both the WCC and WDC with that team, move to the team 10th on the grid for the next season.
• You must complete this challenge in a single save file.
• If you are fired by the board before you've won a Championship at each team, you must start again.

Extra

Give yourself a greater challenge by editing the other constructor's starting conditions to be better than your custom team. Fight way to glory with your 11^th team before switching to another constructor and prove that you're the very best Team Principal.

05 - Record-breaker

Battle your way through the constructors, developing a team that comes out on top every time. Ensure your drivers dominate the track and the leaderboard, winning every season.

Can you make history by winning nine consecutive times, beating the current Mercedes record?

Rules

• Have all teams on the grid begin the season with the same starting conditions.
• Win the Constructors’ Championship at least 9 times.
• You can't switch teams.
• If you're fired by the board, you must start over.

Extra

Push the envelope with an all-female team becoming the 9-time champions or bring a team of rookies from the start of their career to record-breaking new heights.

06 - Custom Set-Up

Build an 11^th constructor completely from scratch, using season customisation to create your own drivers and staff that will take you straight to victory!

Determine their attributes, achievements and development rates to create a new wave of F1 talent to get the grid talking.

• Use season customisation to generate drivers and staff from the ground up to power your team.
• Name, and create your drivers and race engineers, giving them the best attributes to support each other and push the team further.
• Win the WDC and WCC with your custom 11^th team in as few seasons as possible.

Extra

Use season customisation to change and tweak other aspects of the season! Randomise the race calendar each season for a different challenge every time.
