Team Challenges to Prove Your Skills

It’s your time to be in control of the official Constructors on the F1® grid!

Take on these challenges, bringing each team to glory and testing your mettle as Team Principal.

01 - Red Bull

Move Daniel Riccardo to Red Bull, giving him a chance at redemption and to win the WDC. It’s time to show the rest of the grid that The Honey Badger has teeth!

Rules

• Scout and hire Daniel Riccardo as soon as you can in your first season.
• Nurture Daniel into a World Champion with driver training and facility improvements.
• If he leaves or is poached by another team, restart your save.

02 - McLaren

Managing two world champions in one team is a tricky ask for any Team Principal, but how about two legends of the sport? Reunite Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso at McLaren and deliver the Drivers’ and Constructors championships back to Woking.

Rules

• Scout and hire Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso as soon as you can in your first season.
• Win the WCC and WDC in a 1-2 finish in as few seasons as possible.
• If either driver is poached or leaves the team before you get the desired result, restart your save.

03 - Ferrari

The Tifosi clamor for a first Italian World Champion since Alberto Ascari in 1953. Nurture Italian affiliate drivers all the way to a WDC title within 5 years.

Rules

• Only hire Italian affiliate drivers and build them into future World Champions with driver training and facility improvements.
• Win the Driver’s Championship with the affiliates within 5 years or restart your save.

04 - Mercedes

Build Mercedes back into a dominant force by matching (or exceeding) their 8 consecutive constructors titles between 2014 and 2021. Can you transform the team and rule the grid again?

Rules

• Start the season with Hamilton and Russell.
• Build a strong team of affiliate drivers to allow you to swap top drivers for fresh talent as they retire or are poached.
• Win the WCC at least 8 times in a row. If you fail to win, keep your save going until you have 8 consecutive titles.

05 - Aston Martin

Take Aston Martin to their 1st Constructors title whilst keeping Lance Stroll in the team. Fernando Alonso will be your other driver at the start of the season. Use your funding wisely to build a team around the young driver that pushes him to excel and bring home the win.

Rules

• Keep Lance Stroll as 2nd Driver at Aston Martin.
• If Lance leaves or is poached, or you are fired by the Board, restart your save.

06 – Visa Cash App RB

Reestablish the team as a steppingstone for Red Bull by nurturing a talent that the parent team takes to a WDC within 5 years.

Rules

• Scout and hire some of the top performing talent from the affiliate driver pool.
• Build your drivers into a formidable team that the whole grid will want! Accept reasonable poaching offers from Red Bull and send your drivers to the parent team.
• Once your drivers have been poached, use Team Switching to move to Red Bull and win a WDC within 5 years of the driver moves.

07 - Haas

Under pressure from other potential US based teams wanting to join the grid, shape Haas to lead an American driver to race wins at all three American tracks in the calendar in a single season.

Rules

• Scout and hire American drivers via the Affiliate Driver system as soon as you can in your first season.
• To complete the challenge, have an American driver win at Miami, Austin and Las Vegas, in the same season.

08 – Alpine

Promote Sophia Floersh from Alpine Academy to an F1® seat and lead Alpine to glory as part of the future of Formula 1®. Support her in her debut season and push for her first race win as a rookie!

Rules

• Scout and hire Sophia Floersh as soon as you can in your first season.
• Win at least one Grand Prix in her rookie season.
• If Sophia leaves or is poached without winning, restart your save.

09 - Williams

Montoya is back! Help nurture Sebastien Montoya to be a figurehead of the Williams team and win the title his father never achieved.

Rules

• Use the Affiliate Driver system to scout and hire Sebastien Montoya for the team.
• Use driver training and facility upgrades to support Sebastien to his 1st WDC title win.
• If he leaves, or is poached before he wins the Championship, then restart your save.

10 - Kick Sauber

Get Zhou Guanyu his first race win at his home track during the Chinese GP. As the first full-time Chinese driver on the grid, help him achieve his dreams by delivering the win at Shanghai!

Rules

• Keep Zhou Guanyu as your 2nd driver – It’s up to you if you choose to hold on to Valtteri Bottas; just make sure you are giving Zhou enough attention on the run up to race day.
• You can complete this challenge over multiple seasons but if Zhou leaves or is poached, restart your save.
